Perfect Shot

This photo shows the perfect shot - and I know what you are thinking; "But that's just a Snapple bottle!" but it's more than that. This photo represents the blatant consumerism-like values upheld by today's youth. In this case, American youths don't realize the unnecessary prices of juice in a glass bottle when you can get water for free. Because Snapple is a big brand, youths will buy it. 

The empty glass can represent how we, as products of constant reliance and purchasing of major brands, are empty vessels. We fill ourselves with the products we buy.

Inspirational Photo

This photo is very inspirational to me, as it candidly captures the life of a foreign fisherman and the life he lives. I love seeing the every day lives of foreign people and the how/where they live. I enjoy travelling very much and this photo makes me want to jump in the fishing boat and begin an adventure.

Aesthetically, the landscape is beautifully captured in many shades of blue and the light orange in the water really contrasts against that. The mountains naturally create layers of depth because of the distance between them as well, which I quite enjoy.

Removed some of the excess dust/imperfections in photoshop, then darkened the tone and highlighted the focus point of the image, which is the center of the guitar.
